Our Team

Moss has been employed at Southern University Shreveport for 26 years as an
Assistant Professor of Journalism. In addition, he served as a Branding Manager for
KTAL Channel 6 News Station for 13 years.

For 15 years, Moss served as the Executive Director of the nonprofit Rho Omega &
Friends, Inc. He was responsible for developing Project Manhood Mentoring
Program. This program targets at risk young males to teach them life skills and ACT
preparation. During his tenure, Moss led the organization to raise over $90,000 in
scholarship funds. Furthermore, Moss was responsible for expanding the Let The
Good Times Roll Juneteenth Festival to a three day event. The festival is one of the
largest celebrations of Juneteenth in the United States.

Moss serves on The Metropolitan Planning Commission Board of Directors and
volunteers for numerous other civic activities. His motto of life is “YOU CAN
ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING, IF YOU WORK HARD”.

Moss is the proud father of two beautiful daughters.
